TOTSPOT:  Ages 5 and under

Treat your kiddos to exclusive play time in the TotSpot gallery - a toddler favorite! Enjoy exploration time and add to the fun with a crafty takeaway.*

BIRTHDAY BLASTOFF: Ages 3+

Join us as we launch a cosmic-themed birthday celebration for your little star! Embark on a stellar birthday adventure comprised of space-themed crafts and exhibit exploration, including the interactive Moon To Mars exhibit.  It’s the perfect way to make your child’s special day truly out of this world!
Note: Birthday Blastoff is available from February 1, 2025 - May 4, 2025.

Get ready for take off!

MESSY:  Ages 3+ 

The perfect party for those who love hands-on messy fun. Enjoy slime concoctions, oobleck confections and sand creations at this ooey, gooey party! Leave the clean-up to us!*

DINO BIRTHDAY BASH: Ages 4+

Dinosaurs are back! Get ready to rock out at a shin-DIG that’s sure to delight any dino fan. This party adventure includes an excavation and hands-on exploration in the featured Dinosaurs-Fossils Exposed exhibit*. Plus, become a paleontologist with your very own take-home pith helmet to keep the adventure going long after the party ends. Let our party team fossil-itate all of the birthday fun at this prehistoric party!
Note: Dino Birthday Bash is available from May 31, 2025 - August 31, 2025.

PAINT:  Ages 4+

Celebrate your little masterpiece's big day with a party centered on creativity. Party guests slip into smocks and step up to their canvases to create their own frame-worthy art.*

Choose from a selection of painting options. Paint parties include guided instruction and all supplies.

*Bring the food and non-alcoholic beverages of your choice. Our party space has a capacity of 40 people, including children and adults.

Wednesday - Friday from 5:30 – 7:30 pm
Saturday - Sunday from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm;  2:30 – 4:30 pm

Make your child's birthday unforgettable with the addition of an enchanting character appearance! Available on weekday parties, our characters add a touch of magic to any celebration. Choose from a variety of fan-favorite characters to create a truly memorable experience.  Characters options include Ice Queen, Rapunzel, Mermaid Princess, Spider Hero, Enchanted Rose Princess and more!

Party Favors

  • Let LICM handle your Goody Bags: Customized favor bags are available from the Museum Store starting at $7.50. Call the Museum Store at (516) 224-5814 to make arrangements. Member store discounts apply.
  • Gift Cards for Guests: Let your guests select their own souvenir from the Museum Store or take a spin on Nunley's carousel with gift cards instead of a traditional favor. Let our birthday party team know when booking your party and we will arrange gift cards for an additional $10 for each child guest.
