SOCK SKATE CELEBRATE
Get ready for a groovy gliding time! Our popular Snowflake Sock Skating exhibit is the perfect spot to pump up this evening party! Enjoy birthday fun as you slide around the rink in soft “sock skates” to a playlist of jammin’ tunes.
Heat things up with a cocoa craft. Sweeten up your cocoa mix with yummies like peppermint, marshmallows and chocolate chips. Take home your sweet mix and enjoy!
Note: Sock Skate Celebrate is available Wednesdays - Fridays from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. from November 15, 2024 - January 3, 2025.
Move and groove while you slide and glide!
TOTSPOT: Ages 5 and under
Treat your kiddos to exclusive play time in the TotSpot gallery - a toddler favorite! Enjoy exploration time and add to the fun with a crafty takeaway.*
Shake up the party and embellish your own instrument!
MESSY: Ages 3+
The perfect party for those who love hands-on messy fun. Enjoy slime concoctions, oobleck confections and sand creations at this ooey, gooey party! Leave the clean-up to us!*
Children play with oobleck, create sand art, and customize their own slime with mix-ins like pom poms, glitter, beads, and more!
PAINT: Ages 4+
Celebrate your little masterpiece's big day with a party centered on creativity. Party guests slip into smocks and step up to their canvases to create their own frame-worthy art.*
Choose from a selection of painting options. Paint parties include guided instruction and all supplies.
*Bring the food and non-alcoholic beverages of your choice. Our party space has a capacity of 40 people, including children and adults.

Saturday - Sunday from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm; 2:30 – 4:30 pm

Fee
- $750 for the first 15 guests. $25 for each additional guest. LICM Members receive a discount.

Party Favors
- Let LICM handle your Goody Bags: Customized favor bags are available from the Museum Store starting at $7.50. Call the Museum Store at (516) 224-5814 to make arrangements. Member store discounts apply.
- Gift Cards for Guests: Let your guests select their own souvenir from the Museum Store or take a spin on Nunley's carousel with gift cards instead of a traditional favor. Let our birthday party team know when booking your party and we will arrange gift cards for an additional $10 for each child guest.
